Voor mij is dit lied een eerbetoon aan de liefde die ik voel voor mijn zoon. Op 30 mei 2002 werd ik moeder van mijn eerste kind, mijn zoon. Elke avond, als hij in slaap viel, zong ik zachtjes “Fly to the moon” voor hem - een ritueel dat zich ontwikkelde tot een dierbare herinnering.
