Yin Yang Baby
On a beautiful Sunday in March 31st 1968, a baby is born. A baby girl. As she enters the world, she immediately starts crying - loud, fierce, unstoppable. Is it simply the healthy cry of a newborn, announcing she is alive & kicking? Or…is she already telling us something deeper?
Seven minutes later, another soul decides to take her first breath. A second baby girl is born. This one arrives differently - patient, unhurried. She enters the world asleep, quiet and serene, like a tiny Buddha. When the doctors gently tap her on the bottom, she lets out the softest sound - just enough to say “I’m here”.
I call the first one Yang and the second one Yin.
