To me, this song is about the love I feel for my daughter, born in 2005. During my pregnancy, a dear family friend gave me a CD filled with beautiful songs - a truly special gift. I listened to it every single day. And so did my daughter, as babies can hear everything while swimming safely in their mummy’s tummy. The song Close to you was - and still is - my favorite, and it became our first connection even before she took her first breath.
